John Grouber, Freelance Harpist


John performs regularly in New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut as a freelance harpist. He has experience playing weddings, funerals, tea parties, holiday events, symphonies, operettas, and many other special events. He believes live music adds a unique atmosphere to any event.
John also teaches both the Irish harp and the Classical harp. He is a passionate teacher who helps his students grow by crafting each lesson to their individual needs and wants. John believes in teaching proper technique and fundamentals as a way to help students become creative and independent harpists and musicians. Lessons include history of the harp and music, theory, aural skills, harp technique, harp repertoire, and of course, fun!
In addition to that John can build you a custom harp or repair your harp. Restring, retune, and re-love your harp again!
